Is the boot-camp bubble about to bust?

Over the last few weeks of school, a couple of reputable coding boot-camps have announce their imminent closure. I decided to look into this matter a bit further since I am currently enrolled in a boot-camp myself. I read an article from Wired.com on this exact topic. Below is part of what they had to say:

“The fact is, thanks to all of this attention, the number of bootcamps around the country has ballooned. So have the number of graduates. And while many of these schools are reputable institutions with solid relationships in the tech industry, others are, like so many for-profit schools before them, just jumping on the bandwagon and offering a less than satisfactory education in the process.”

You might think that this news would cause me to be a little concerned about the decision I made to devote so many resources to an endeavor that could be putting my future at risk. The fact is, the news only makes me more confident about the choice that I have made. I am confident that the hands-on training that I am receiving will put me far above all of the other new entries into the field. Coder Foundry was the way to go!

Hey Ron, just want to put my two cents in...I think Bootcamps are on the rise and the evidence can be found in Universities starting to offer them.
